Globcom joined other stakeholders and women across the globe on 8th March in commemoration of International Women day Themed Digit All-Innovation and Technology for gender equality, recognizes and celebrates the women and girls who are championing the advancement of transformative technology and digital education.

The event which took place at Siaya Institute grounds in Alego Usonga Subcounty was graced by the chief guest Hon Scholastic Masidis, member of county assembly south east alego, was marked with pomp and color.

The event gave the spotlight on the importance of protecting the rights of women and girls in digital spaces and addressing online and ICT-facilitated gender-based violence.
