Mr. Ibraheem Otieno

Ibraheem is the Chief Executive Officer and secretary to the board of directors. He is a team leader with hands-on experience in community development and program management. In 2017, a time when the organisation was dormant, Ibraheem joined as a volunteer and turned around it’s story. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies, a post graduate degree in Business Administration (Finance option) and a diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology among other academic professional courses.

Ms. Edna Atieno Gowi

Edna is a result oriented legal practitioner, researcher and Arbitrator with vast knowledge and experience in the legal realm. She has a mastery of the substantive law and legal procedures relating family law including rights of children. She has actively engaged in fight against violation of human rights. She is an organized, proactive, focused, hardworking team player who thrives on innovative challenges.

She has six years’ experience working both in private legal practitioners and civil society sector within Kenya and steadily growing professionally. She has also actively engaged in mediation with particular focus on domestic disputes as well as enforcement of rights of people affected and infected with HIV/AIDS and victims of gender-based violence. She is an accomplished, eloquent and knowledgeable trainer in various topical issues. Edna is the legal adviser.

Mr. Ismael Apuot Oluoch

Ismail holds a Diploma in electrical and Electronics Engineering (Power option) from Nairobi Technical Training Institute. For the last one year, He has worked with several reputable companies where he has gained much needed experience in electrical installation. In community work, Ismael has a long-standing history with GLOBCOM, dating from 2017 when he joined the team as a volunteer and later become a computer instructor. Ismail is a youth representative in the board and adds a lot of value to the team.

Ms. Pamellah Ameso

Pamellah is the chairperson of the board of directors, a role she has served since 2018 to date. She is currently undertaking her PhD in BA (Strategic Management) at Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology (JKUAT). She is a lecturer at Ramogi Institute of Advanced Technology (RIAT) in Kisumu. She has a high sense of responsibility, a reliable and goal-oriented leader. She has a passion in community development. “My interest and motivator is working with people, empowering them with knowledge and equipping them with adequate skills, that gives me fulfillment.”

Ms. Everline Otenda

Everline undertook accounting course, KATC I and II, at KCA University, Kisumu between 2007 and 2008 and she is a trained and experienced Paralegal. She boasts of over twelve (12) years’ experience in Law Firm Administration and Management. She also undertook professional training in accounting & book-keeping (including use of digital accounting tools such as QuickBooks), planning, financial management and human resource management. She is also experienced in land and property transactions and possess hands-on-experience in the same. Outside work, she plays basketball.

Victor Odhiambo

Victor holds a BSc in Biology from Egerton University. He has extensive experience as a tutor and a motivational speaker. He is resourceful as a youth mentor and has developed a career in motivational speaking through which he has reached many institutions to encourage and mentor staff and pupils. He has served in the board since his appointment in 2018.

Ms. Cecilia Gibore

Cecilia is a self- motivated leader and a team player committed in working to create impact in the lives of young people. She is a counsellor by profession, a mentor, a Trainer and a motivational speaker. She has passion in mentoring and nurturing young people to help them identify their purpose for life. She holds a Diploma course in Counselling Psychology from Kenya Institute of Professional Counselling and a Bachelor degree in Education Arts from Masinde Muliro University of Science & Technology. Currently, She is a student at Maseno University pursuing a course in Masters Arts in Counselling Psychology. She is also a founding member and the Director of Hope Inspire Mentorship Action (HIMA) CBO.

Mr. Stephen Oduor

Stephen holds a Diploma in Social Work and Community Development. Currently he is pursuing a Bachelors in the same at the Catholic University, main campus. He is totally blind and represents persons abled differently in the board (PWD) in the board.

Ms. Vivian Onyango

Vivian, a resilient, self-driven young enthusiastic girl from Komollo sub-location in Siaya County. She is currently pursuing a Diploma course in Community Health Nursing at the Kenya Medical Training College, Bondo campus. She is very resourceful and has served in different roles in the organisation as a peer educator and mentor for Adolescents and young persons. She is passionate about the youth and an advocate of Youth Sexual Reproductive Health Rights. She represents persons living with HIV in the board. Vivian represents PLHIVs and youths in the board.

MR. Henery Wandera

Henry has an extensive background and experience in program management having worked and implemented different donor funded programs for over ten years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and is a registered Public Accountant of Kenya. Henry is the Finance Director
