Susan Anyango Oketch
Susan Oketch is a youth focused lady of 27 years of age, from Siaya county, Alego Usonga sub county, North Alego ward, Hono sub location, Mbaga- Imbaya village. She graduated in 2016 with Diploma in Social work and community development. Trained in the following fields SRH-Family Planning as a Trained youth peer provider, Trained mobilizer, trained on communication skills, trained mentor, trained as VP facilitator, trained on Entrepreneurship, financial capability as facilitator, trained as peer educator. Rebeca Mugele
Rebecca Mugele is a 23-year-old, dedicated young lady who is organized and dependable with a positive attitude, from Alego Usonga Sub-County, Township ward, Mulaha Sub-location. She’s yet to hold a Diploma Award for Community Health and Development at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology. She was previously attached at Lumumba Sub-County hospital in Kisumu County and recently joined the organization (GLOBCOM) as an intern in September 2022. Phylis Melica Atieno
Phylis is a 21-year-old lady from Siaya county, Alego-Usonga sub-county, Siaya Township ward, Nyandiwa sub-location. She is currently pursuing a Certificate course in Social Work at Siaya Institute of Technology. She has been working with GLOBCOM since 2020 till date. Helen Adota Owino
Adota is a Christian, hardworking and respectful lady from Nyamila sub location in Alego North ward located in Siaya County. She is a student in JOOUST awaiting graduation in Bachelor of Science in Community Health and Development. Adota was acquainted with Global Communication Institute through Mulaha Dispensary where she did her first attachment and was trained Peer Education TOT. She later decided to join the organization Global Communication Institute for her final attachment.
Victor Otieno
Victor is 32 years old from Umala sub-location in Alego Usonga constituency, Siaya county. He pursued a diploma certificate in community health and development and later advanced to a bachelor’s degree in the same from Jaramogy Oginga odinga University of science and technology. Ruth Seline
Ruth ails from Ugunja sub-county in Siaya county and is 26 years old. She began her early schooling in Siaya and on completion she proceeded to Maseno University to pursue Bachelor's degree in Language and Communication with IT where she graduated with a 2nd Class Honors Lower Division. She's worked as a clerk of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries commission in the 2022 general elections in Ugunja constituency. She is highly competent, well -organized and with excellent communication skills. Ruth Seline Anyango Ogutu is a progressive-minded person and in tune with new developments in any field. Moreover, other personal skills that She possess include teamwork, leadership, enthusiasm and critical/analytical thinking. Ruth joined GLOBCOM in February 2023 as an intern. Ms. Cynthia Macylyne Akwiri
Cynthia is a self- motivated, well organized and goal-oriented lady from Alego Usonga, Siaya county. she holds a bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance Major, from Kenyatta University. She is passionate about crocheting and occasionally makes, markets and sells her products online as a side Hussle. She previously volunteered at Kenya Red Cross Society where she supported the organization as an accounts assistant and joined Globcom in February 2023 as a Finance intern. Joy Sirawa
Joy holds a bachelor of Arts in Social Work. For over two years she has been in the community development space with a goal of serving people to ensure social justice. Joy is passionate about working with vulnerable communities and believe in their dignity and worth as part of the general population. She joined GLOBCOM in February 2023 as an intern.
