Our team combines local expertise, community trust, and professional dedication to deliver programs that truly make a difference.

Board of Directors

The organisation's leadership rests with the Board of Directors — eight members, four male and four female, majority below 35 years of age.

Mr. Ismael Oluoch

Chairperson, Board of Directors

A dynamic youth leader and electrical engineer, Ismael has been with GLOBCOM since 2017 as a volunteer and computer instructor. He provides strategic direction and governance oversight to the organisation.

Everline Otenda

Treasurer, Board of Directors

A dedicated paralegal with over 15 years of experience in commercial law and a background in finance, accounting, and HR management. Provides critical oversight on financial accountability and budgeting.

Ibraheem Otieno

CEO & Secretary to the Board

Co-founding member and CEO. Holds a Bachelor's in Development Studies (MKU) and is pursuing Master's degrees at Maseno University and MKU. Drives the organisation's vision, mission, and long-term strategy.

Cecilia Gibore

Board Member

A professionally trained counsellor, mentor, and motivational speaker with a Master's in Counselling Psychology (Maseno University). Founder of Hope Inspire Mentorship Action (HIMA) CBO.

Board Member

A Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse and AYP Mentor who joined as a peer educator and rose to the board in 2021. Passionate advocate for youth empowerment and Reproductive Health and Rights.

Pamellah Atieno

Board Member

A Technical Trainer with 20+ years in TVET. MBA (University of Nairobi), B.Ed (Kenyatta University), pursuing PhD in Strategic Management at JKUAT. Former Board Chair for six consecutive years (2018–2024).

Henry Wandera

Board Member

A CPA-K with over 15 years in program management across donor-funded projects. Appointed to the board in 2024, contributing strategic insight in finance and program implementation.

Stephen Oduor

Board Member

Holds a BA in Counselling Psychology (Tangaza University). A person with total visual impairment, he advocates for inclusion and disability rights on the board. A trained peer counselor and community worker.

Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

Holds a BA in Language and Communication with IT (Maseno University) and professional M&E training from KCA University. With GLOBCOM since February 2023, bringing analytical expertise and strong communication skills.

Admin Officer

Holds a Bachelor's in Commerce, Admin option (University of Nairobi). Joined the organisation in 2024, providing essential administrative support to all operations.

Holds a BA in Community Health (Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University). Joined as an intern in 2023 and now oversees the Cataract Project, managing operations, budgets, and M&E processes.

A dedicated youth advocate specialising in SRHR and a trained, accredited paralegal. Bridges communities and justice systems through sensitization, capacity building, and GBV advocacy.

Holds a Diploma in Social Work and Community Development from Seme Technical College. Previously interned at Siaya County Referral Hospital, gaining experience in multidisciplinary healthcare. Passionate about mental health and community wellness.

Whitney Akinyi

Project Assistant — Intern

Holds a Diploma in Community Health with IT from Siaya National Polytechnic. Previously interned with Kenya Red Cross Society and Bondo Sub-County Hospital. A “Dream Girls” program beneficiary, passionate about youth health and vulnerable populations.
